Since founded in 1981, BI Research has frequently been ranked among the top stock picking investment newsletters for its performance. For example-

For the period ended May 2006 BI Research was ranked in the top five for its performance for the past 20 years according to the The Hulbert Financial Digest, who has been ranking the performance of investment newsletters for about 25 years and BI Research for more than 20 years.

Not to claim BI Research has been well rated all along, without offering up some more evidence, here is just a smattering of our ratings taken from the last 20 years (according to The Hulbert Financial Digest):

• For the 10 years ending June 30, 2005, we were ranked 3rd.

• For the 20 years ending December 31, 2004 we were ranked 3rd.

• For the 5 years ending December 31, 2003, we were ranked 2nd.

• For the 10 years ending December 31, 2003, we were ranked 4th.

• For the 15 years ending December 31, 2003, we were ranked 4th.

• For the 20 years ending December 31, 2003, we were ranked 2nd.

• For the 15 years ending November 2002, we were ranked 4th.

• For the 15 years ending February 1999, we were ranked 5th.

• For the 10 years ending June 1997, we were rated 3rd.

• For the 10 years ending December 1994, we were rated 2nd.

• For the 10 years ending December 1993, we were rated number 1.

• For the 3 years ending May 1993 we were rated 2nd.

• For the 3 years ending December 1990 we were rated 3rd.

• For the 8 years ending December 1991 we were rated number 1.

• For the 2 years ending December 1985 we were rated number 1.

• And even before Hulbert began to track us in 1984, a newsletter called Rating the Stock Selectors said (11/83)- "We obtained Financial World's list of top performing market letters as of July 1983. We are pleased to see they too rate BI Research very high. Very high is an understatement! FW had BI rated #1, with a portfolio gain of 157%."

So, we have been around for a while and highly ranked consistently over the years, right from the beginning.
